Overview

Book'd ("we", "us") provides an SMS appointment booking assistant for professionals. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. By using Book'd you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account data: name, email, and authentication details when you sign up.
• Business config: assistant name, availability, booking preferences, Zoom link.
• Calendar data: free/busy times and event creation when you connect Google Calendar (with your permission).
• SMS & prospects: phone numbers, message content, and fields collected during booking (e.g. name, email, state) for your account.
• Usage & billing: subscription status, SMS/API usage metrics needed to operate the service.
• Demo chat: optional website demo messages, stored temporarily and rate-limited.

How we use information

• To run the booking assistant and send SMS on your behalf
• To create or notify about appointments
• To provide your dashboard, support, and service improvements
• To process payments and prevent abuse

We do not sell your personal data or prospect lists.

Service providers

We use trusted processors to operate Book'd, including hosting (e.g. Vercel), database/auth (Supabase), SMS (Twilio), AI completions (xAI), payments (Stripe), and email delivery (e.g. Resend). Each processes data only as needed to provide their service.

Google user data

If you connect Google Calendar, we access calendar free/busy information and may create events you authorize. We use this only to offer real availability and complete bookings. You can disconnect Google anytime from your account settings or Google Account permissions.

Retention

We retain account and conversation data while your account is active and as needed for legal, security, and billing purposes. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and row-level isolation so customers only access their own data. No method of transmission is 100% secure.
